An engaged Alaskan democracy

Elizabeth Moreau

Elizabeth grew up primarily in the Kansas City area, but left to study Linguistics at Arizona State before returning to Kansas to earn her Masters in Library Science. After working as a children’s librarian in Kansas City, the wandering soul she had inherited from generations of pioneers, homesteaders, and travelers overtook her and she accepted a job as a youth services librarian in Anchorage. In 2010, she became the branch manager of the newly reopened Mountain View Branch Library.
