Tackling Alaska’s Fiscal Problems: A session with the President of the Senate and Speaker of the House

As the Alaska Legislature gets ready to enter into a third special session, we have invited key legislators to inform Alaskans about the State’s fiscal crisis and options to resolve it. 

Speakers:

• Cliff Groh, Recognized authority on Alaska’s fiscal issues

Event format:

• Presentation by Cliff Groh that lays out the basic elements of the State’s fiscal crisis and the options being considered to address it. 
• Presentations by two key Alaska legislators, explaining what the Legislature is faced with and what is happening to address and solve the fiscal situation, including discussion of the range of options being considered, and what Alaskans can do to help bring a good solution.
• Questions from the audience.
