In this issue, Alaska Common Ground (ACG) reflects on a busy spring and looks ahead to fall. While we take a brief summer pause, it’s a perfect time to catch up on recent events and prepare for upcoming elections. Here’s what we’ve been up to:
Annual Meeting: Public Education Funding – ACG’s Annual Meeting on May 9 featured a timely discussion on education funding with Senator Löki Tobin, moderated by Anchorage principal Brendan Wilson. Rep. Justin Ruffridge was unable to attend due to legislative proceedings but we look forward to his future participation.

Fall Elections – With elections around the corner, now’s the time to ensure your voter registration is current. In addition to state and federal races, several ballot initiatives and judicial retention votes will be on the ballot
Upcoming ACG Events – This fall, ACG will host forums on ballot initiatives—stay tuned for details. We’re also excited to launch a redesigned website to improve access and engagement.
