Alyssa Bish

Alyssa is currently the Director of Development at VOA Alaska. Alyssa’s passion for giving back to the community through non-profits started as a student worker at the University of Alaska Foundation. This first role sparked a desire to dedicate her professional life to supporting the work of non-profit organizations and to be a force for good in the community. Following her time at the Foundation, she went on to spend 6 amazing years connecting Alaskans with the world at the Alaska World Affairs Council. Immediately prior to joining VOA Alaska, Alyssa lived in Edinburgh, Scotland where she earned her Masters in Business Administration from the University of Edinburgh. Now back home in Anchorage, you can often find her at the dog park with her golden pups, Poppy and Thor, or out and about at various community or performing arts events.
