Redistricting in Alaska

Every ten years, new legislative district boundaries are drawn based on the most recent census data. In September 2021, the Alaska Redistricting Board adopted six proposed redistricting plans and presented them at public meetings across Alaska. To inform the public about the process and how to participate, Alaska Common Ground hosted Senator Tom Begich in an online event to discuss what fair redistricting looks like and why it matters.
